As a broad guide and it obviously depends on the size of your garden and the foot balling skills of your child, the guide below will hopefully give you a good idea

Metal or plastic Goals?
Metal goals, such as those made by TP Activity Toys are about 30% cheaper than plastic ones, but the construction of tubular plastic goals is such that they are harder wearing. If the goal is likely to get a lot of use by older children, it is better to consider plastic
Can the Goal be moved around the garden?
Each of the goals featured on our website is light enough that it can be moved around the garden by one two adults, whilst the locking mechanism found on the Outdoor Play and Samba Goals ranges, ensures that the gaols won't fall apart if moved
